JOHN HERMAN

John Herman is a local multi-disciplinary artist who created the original lino-cut artwork under the prior name, Hearth Food Garden. Since its opening, in 2023, the business has been renamed Hearth Market, with John's iconic lino-cut  imagery still proudly representing what we stand for; community, art, and a passion for food.

COMMUNITY ART

McNabb Properties Ltd. has proudly commissioned numerous works of art to be displayed throughout their properties in Portsmouth, NH.  Created by local and national artists, these works include murals, sculptures, stained glass windows, as well as unique architectural designs that complement and enrich diversity within Portsmouth's public spaces.

THOMAS BERGER

Thomas Berger is a visual artist who focuses on representing  and depicting of the natural world through three-dimensional works in granite, weathered fiieldstone, and cast metal. Much of Berger's work is inspired by the beauty of nature, particularly as it relates to marine life and invertebrate land animals.

 

Hearth Market features two of Berger's large sculptures:  Stars and Stripers, located in the front lobby entrance, and Metamorphosis "Dare To Change," located in the courtyard outside of the Hearth Market atrium.

FLORA BOWLEY

Flora Bowley (pronounced bowl-lee) is an artist, author, and gentle guide whose creative process and soulful approach blends over twenty-five years of professional painting experience with her background as a yoga instructor, healer, and lifelong truth seeker. Flora's mural artwork is located throughout the walls of Hearth Market.

VIVIAN BEER

  • Vivian Beer Linktree

A furniture designer/maker/sculptor based in New England. Vivian's sleek, abstracted metal and concrete furniture combines the aesthetic sensibilities of contemporary design, craft, and sculpture to create furniture that alters expectations of and interface with the domestic landscape. Vivian Beer has two large metal sculptures, Impact and Woven,  located in the outside courtyard area of Hearth Market.
